A Look at Our Clinics –
Our students gain a broad perspective working with a dynamic team of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, athletic trainers, and aides. Our students will be assigned to one clinic with one to two clinical instructors. (CI)

I want to develop more thorough clinical reasoning skills and learn with/from the PT’s and patients of Harbor Springs. Interested in inpatient, outpatient orthopedic, or travel PT. I love to run and am trying to do a race in every state.
Hi! My name is Matthew (Matt) Obert I am a 3rd year DPT student from Mount St Joseph University. I am from Cold Spring, KY and have lived there my whole life. I am excited to get more hands-on experience working with orthopedic conditions and sports related injuries. I am hoping to continue building my knowledge in the clinic and further developing my skills to best serve every patient I see now and in the future. After graduation I hope to work with the pediatric population near my hometown. In my free time, you can catch me playing different games, watching sports (especially football), or walking around outside enjoying the fresh air.
Hi, my name is Jared, and I hail from Des Moines, IA. I’m currently a 3rd year DPT student at St. Ambrose University, located in Davenport, IA. During my time here I hope to continue grow and develop my clinical skills and help my patients return to all of their activities. I want to learn more about rehabilitating sports specific injuries while I’m here. I have taken a special interest in treating sports, orthopedic, and vestibular conditions. I hope to continue to grow my clinical practice in each of these. I’m a long-time runner and even competed in college. In my free time, I also love to lift weights, read, watch movies, and generally spend as much time outside as I can.
